The Unconventional Guide to Branding

Build Your Brand: Be Weird, Be Memorable

Hey friends,

I recently attended a small workshop with Business Coach Chris Do. People cried during the session. I’m not lying

This loud-introvert workshop was different. It was an eye-opening experience.

I spent €2,500 on this, so that you don't have to and I want to share my key insights with you for free.

Let’s go!

Adam Dittrich and Chris Do

How did this changed me?

Chris inspired me to learn and take action. His words evoke emotions and encourage reflection, motivating me to create change.

Probably that's why my mission is: Inspire 5 million creative entrepreneurs. Turn your passion into a scalable, sustainable, and meaningful business.

His dedication to teaching, is truly remarkable. We spend hours after the 16-hour sessions talking about life and business.

Even after the after-party, we went to another after-party and continued our conversations.

Here are my surprising lessons that I learned.

Selling is not evil

Selling is not just about marketing strategy.

It's about genuinely helping customers, being curious about their needs, and learning from them.

Sales vs. Marketing

Sales solving problems 1:1.

while marketing is about solving problems for many.

Personal Branding: Find your SuperPower

Everyone has something that makes them uncomfortable. Personal branding means being authentic and true to yourself, even if it may be unconventional.

Find your inner weirdo

By embracing your inner weirdo and turning it into a superpower, you can create a personal brand that stands out and resonates with your audience.

Heal your emotional wounds

Personal branding is not about the number of followers you can gain.

It involves delving deep into your emotions and addressing any issues that may be holding you back.

It is crucial in moving forward in business and life.

Be different, be yourself

To be truly innovative, you must embrace what makes you different and be yourself.

Embrace every part of yourself and own it.

Including the weird and quirky aspects

There is only one you. No one can compete with that.

Asking the right questions

When consulting and coaching clients, I often find that they are unsure about what they want.

By asking open-ended questions, you can better understand clients' needs and create tailored solutions, ultimately improving business relationships.

Asking the right questions, in the right tone, at the right time is key.

Power of Evidence-Based Questions

Ask deeper questions based on evidence rather than assumptions to better understand customers needs and help them achieve their goals.

✅ Evidence-based questions

  1. How do you know that to be true?

  2. Can you give me examples that support your argument?

❌ Fake questions

  1. Don't you agree with me?

  2. Don't you think I'm making a good point?

❌ Binary questions

  1. Do you like cats or dogs?

  2. Are you happy with the outcome, yes or no?

Active listening

Active listening is a crucial skill in any business, especially when dealing with clients.

It involves truly understanding what the other person is saying and responding appropriately.

People buy Stories

not your brand.

People connect with stories, so use your personal story to connect with your audience and build your brand.

Positioning is crucial - define what you do, who you do it for, and why it matters.

Storytelling needs conflict

Every story needs a villain. Conflict creates tension and keeps the audience engaged.

You can find conflict from past traumas and use it in your storytelling to create a more powerful and relatable message.

By embracing your struggles and overcoming them, entrepreneurs can inspire their audience and build a stronger personal brand.

How to be Happy and Grateful

Here is quick exercise. I’ll do this every morning.

Start simple

  • What are 3 things you are grateful for today?

Go deeper

  • Who is one person you need to thank or wish you could've thanked and never got a chance to?

  • How did they help you, in a time when you really needed it.

  • What did that reveal about you?
